I am a web designer for service-based small businesses who feel overwhelmed with the process of setting up & launching their website. I create their online presence so they can focus their time and energy on the activities in their business that really move the needle.

It all started with a Commodore 64

At the age of 10, I got my first computer — and it totally changed the course of my life.

This computer introduced me to my first experience with programming (BASIC). It sparked my love of all things computers and programming. This love continued when my high school computer teacher introduced me to this “new thing called the Internet” in the early ’90s, and it wasn’t long before I was hand-coding websites for fun & eventually, the website for the soapmaking business I had started.

And then it happened - someone asked me to make their website.

A fellow soapmaker loved my site and asked who made it. I offered to make her one, too, and my journey as a web designer started!

My path to starting The Simple Growth Co took a twisty route – I moved on from soapmaking to cake decorating (teaching & making them), then to nutrition & becoming a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (yes, I get the stark contrast of that transition 😉). All along the way, I created websites for every endeavor and occasionally created a site for a friend or colleague who needed one. Finally, after taking a part-time web design job, I realized it was time to return to my roots!

In 2020, I started The Simple Growth Co. to help small businesses create websites & streamline their processes.
